New Eco-Lodge Opens Along Reservoir Shoreline

A new sustainable eco-lodge has opened near the Pantabangan Reservoir, offering kayak rentals and guided island-hopping tours.

Pantabangan's growing tourism infrastructure received a boost with the opening of a new eco-lodge along the reservoir's southern shoreline. The lodge features 12 native-style cottages built with sustainable materials, each offering views of the lake and mountains.

Facilities include kayak and paddleboard rentals, guided island-hopping tours, a lakeside restaurant serving local cuisine, and a small conference room for retreats. The owners, a local family, hope to demonstrate that eco-tourism can provide sustainable livelihoods while preserving the natural beauty of Pantabangan.
