About this Destination
Mount Kaanducian is a grassland summit in Pantabangan, named after the Tagalog term for Japanese acacia trees that historically grew on its slopes. The peak has been open to the public for hiking since 2017.
The trek is a moderate climb best attempted in the cooler dry-season months (November–February). The summit offers a full panorama of Pantabangan Lake, the reservoir islands, and the Sierra Madre on the eastern horizon. Hire a local guide from the trailhead — trail conditions vary by season.
