About this Destination
The Pantabangan Dam, completed in 1974, stands 107 meters tall with a crest length of 1,220 meters. It created a reservoir spanning approximately 8,400 hectares — one of the largest man-made lakes in the Philippines.
The reservoir is now a premier eco-tourism destination, offering island-hopping across dozens of emerald islets, kayaking through calm turquoise waters, and sport fishing. The dam also generates 112 megawatts of hydroelectric power and irrigates over 103,000 hectares of farmland across Central Luzon.
